The Sportscotland Inverclyde National Training Centre performance gym has been redesigned and upgraded as a world-leading, inclusive high-performance sports training facility. The gym features state-of-the-art equipment, including 8 half racks with custom-branded weights and bespoke upholstery, alongside DDA-compliant Paralympic equipment and benches with Velcro straps to securely accommodate athletes with disabilities. High-performance impact flooring was installed with custom blue flush-fitted weightlifting platforms and a 20-metre blue nylon sled track, creating a dynamic, fully accessible training environment that supports athletes of all abilities at the highest level.
